Jesper Gøtz has been a good friend and an appreciated colleague since many years. We are both craftsmen combining our hands on work creating new mindset and philosophy around what we do. We share a passion for our daily life, how the objects we handle in connection with everyday chores and activities should hold artistic value. As how to make the daily bread wisely and giving the process a thought. How to make a sustainable choice when using your textiles for our daily life. How to see our life as a connected chain of values and mindful choices.

Jesper has for a long time had the idea of making a limited edition bread basket combined with my linen textile as baking cloth. I knew Akiko and Ken gifted cabinetmakers having their own workshop in Kokkedal north of Copenhagen. We were happy they wanted to be part of this collaboration. After a long period of experiments we are proud to show you the bread basket and the Textile No. 15 baking cloth.

On top of this Jesper Gøtz has moved into my workshop so we now share our daily working life in the beautiful Dyrehaven north of Copenhagen. Please stay tuned as new interesting collaborations may occur in the future.

You can buy the bread basket and the baking cloth Textile No. 15 at gotzbread.com
