The Loom Collection

In the winter 2017 I met Sjur Lien from Aure Studio. He visited my studio in Raadvad on a cold and dark January day. He biked the long ride through Dyrehaven from Klampenborg Station and was amazed of all the deers living in the forest. This day we both got a friend and colleague and we started our collaboration. Now after 3 years with countless of experiments, work and decisions we are happy to share The Loom Collection with all of you.
The Loom Collection is a study in natural fibers, comfort and community. Our aim is to investigate the unique nature of handwoven fabrics and to recreate a similar feeling through industrial weaving. Together we have developed three textiles, SQUARE, STRAW and CHALK. Each fabric is made from 100% European produced linen all certified by Masters of Linen®, Paris.
The garments are unisex. The style is clean and simple made to be worn by different people in their own personal way. We wish to convey the beauty we see in natural textiles – their personality, the way they move, how they wrinkle, their small imperfections.
The collection is a limited edition and made to be included in your wardrobe for a long time. The Loom Collection will be sold online from our webshops and at Aure Studio, Copenhagen shop.
